Eligibility Criteria: To apply for the NIOT Chennai Apprentice recruitment, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Graduate Apprentice:
- Education Qualification: Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E/B.Tech) from a recognized university or institution. The degree should have been obtained after completing a 4-year course in the respective discipline.
- Age Limit: Generally, the age should be between 18 and 27 years as of the date of notification. Age relaxation may be applicable as per government rules for reserved categories.
Diploma Apprentice:
- Education Qualification: Candidates must possess a Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized institution or university.
- Age Limit: Similar to Graduate Apprentice, candidates should be between 18 and 27 years, with relaxation for reserved categories.
The applicants should not have completed more than three years after passing of the qualifying examination as on 31.07.2024 i.e. candidates having passed the minimum educational qualification in the year 2024, 2023, 2022 are only eligible to apply.
Salary Details: The stipend offered to the selected candidates for both Graduate and Diploma Apprentice posts will be as per the Apprenticeship Rules. The typical stipend rates are:
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month (depending on the qualification and discipline).
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 12,000 per month (based on the qualifications and discipline).
Selection Process: The selection process for NIOT Chennai recruitment 2024 will involve the following steps:
