Eligibility Criteria : The eligibility criteria for the Research Associate (RA) position is that the candidate must have completed their Ph.D. in food technology or a related field with experience in food processing, preservation, and packaging. The candidate must have published at least two research papers in SCI journals. For the Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position, the candidate must have completed their M.Tech or M.Sc. in food technology or a related field with experience in food processing, preservation, and packaging. The candidate must have qualified for any national level test (NET/GATE) and have published at least one research paper in SCI journals.

Selection Process : The selected candidates will be working on various research projects related to the food technology and entrepreneurship fields, such as the development of new food products, food processing and packaging technologies, and food safety and quality assurance. The positions are initially for a period of one year, and can be extended based on the performance of the candidate and the availability of funds.
Salary & Benefits : The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the rules and regulations of NIFTEM. The Research Associate position offers a stipend of Rs. 47,000 per month plus HRA, while the Senior Research Fellow position offers a stipend of Rs. 35,000 per month plus HRA. The selected candidates will also be eligible for other benefits as per NIFTEM rules and regulations.
