Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for the Project Technician posts are as follows:
Project Research Assistant –
Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Public Health/Sociology/Social work/ Anthropology/Nutrition/ Home Science or any other relevant subject from a recognized university with 3 years’ work experience from a recognized institution. OR Master’s degree in Public Health/Sociology/Social work/ Anthropology/Nutrition/ Home Science or any other relevant subject from a recognized institution.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: 2 years of experience in field data collection. Experience in Qualitative data collection, review of literature, etc. Knowledge of Tamil will be an advantage
Project Technician-III –
Essential Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects and 2 years’ diploma in MLT or 1 year DMLT plus 1 year required experience from a recognized organization or 2 years field/ laboratory experience. B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years of experience.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Experience in collecting blood samples from participants in community settings, Experience in processing and testing biological samples. Working knowledge of Computer Applications. Proficiency in Tamil to interact with community.
Salary: The salary for the posts is Rs. 18,000/- to 31,000/- per month (consolidated) respective to the post. There are no other allowances or benefits provided along with the salary.
Selection Process: The selection process for the Project Technician posts will be based on the candidate’s performance in the walk-in written test and interview. The written test will be of objective type and will test the candidate’s knowledge in their respective fields. The candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the interview, which will assess the candidate’s suitability for the position.
