Educational Qualification :
1.Project Scientist – C (Medical/Non-medical)
MEDICAL :
• Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience OR Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two year’s experience .
OR
• M.B.B.S degree with 4 year’s experience in Public health/Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social medicine/ Epidemiology after obtaining MBBS Degree
Desirable Qualification and Experience :
• A Doctorate or a Post Graduate Degree MD/MPH/MAE in Public health/Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social medicine/ Epidemiology / Public Health from a recognized University/ Institute.
• Additional Post doctoral research/ teaching experience in above subjects in recognized institute(s).
• Experience of surveillance activity research, including monitoring and supervision.
• Knowledge of Computer applications and statistical Packages.
NON-MEDICAL :
• First class Masters degree in Public Health/Epidemiology in recognized university with four years’ experience in relevant field.
OR
• Second class Masters degree in Public Health/Epidemiology with PhD with four years experience in relevant field.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
• Working knowledge in the area of disease surveillance and project management.
• Good communication skills: scientific writing as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and official communications.
• Knowledge of literature review using reference managers, data handling, analysis, interpretation and report writing.
• Working knowledge of statistical software including SPSS/Stata/R.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
2.Project Technical Assistant :
• Graduate in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics / Life Sciences from a recognized University with three years work experience in public health project / health care management from a recognized institution
(OR)
• Masters degree in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics / Life Sciences / Public Health / Epidemiology.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
• Data management and data analysis
• Preparation of reports
• Communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of Local Language
