• Project Scientist – B ( medical/ non medical) – 38 years
Educational qualification:
1.Project Scientist – C ( Medical) :
• Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience ( OR ) Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years experience. (OR )
• M.B.B.S degree with 4 years experience in Public health/Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social medicine/ Epidemiology after obtaining MBBS Degree.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
• PhD in epidemiology.
• MD Community Medicine/SPM.
• MPH after MBBS.
• Experience in conducting community-based health research, including vaccine and other drug trials.
• Experience in coordination of research activities.
• Knowledge of computer applications and data analysis • Experience in writing research manuscripts.
• Training in GCP.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing in Tamil.
2.Project Scientist – B (Medical / Non-Medical) :
• For Medical:
MBBS Degree with one-year experience in research/training (OR )
MD in Microbiology/Pathology/PSM from a recognized University.
• For Non-Medical:
First class Masters degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with two years’ experience in related field ( OR )
Second class Masters degree with PhD in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification and Experience For Medical:
• A Doctorate or a Post Graduate Degree MD//MPH/MAE in Public health/Community Medicine/ Preventive and Social medicine/ Epidemiology / Public Health from a recognized University/ Institute.
• Additional Post-doctoral research/ teaching experience in above subjects in recognized institute(s).
• Experience of surveillance activity research, including monitoring and supervision.
• Knowledge of Computer applications and statistical Packages.
• Knowledge of Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
Salary :
• Project Scientist – C : Rs.64,000/-
• Project Scientist – B ( medical )- Rs. 61,000/-
• Project Scientist- B ( non medical) – Rs. 48,000/-
