Educational qualification :
1.Project Scientist – B (Medical) :
• MBBS Degree with one year Research/Teaching experience. OR MD in PSM/Clinical Subjects from a recognized University after MBBS.
Desirable Qualification and Experience :
• MPH
• Experience in working in community-based health research
• Training in spirometry testing.
• Working knowledge in Computers.
• Able to speak in Tamil
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
2. Project Staff Nurse :
• Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse with any State Nursing Council or B.Sc. in Nursing.
Desirable Qualification and Experience :
• Experience in data collection in field-based health research surveys.
• Experience in clinical examination.
• Experience in blood and urine sample collection.
• Experience in anthropometry data collection
• Experience in spirometry testing.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
3. Project Assistant (Field Investigator) :
• Graduate in Social Sciences/Life Sciences from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution (OR) Page 3 of 10 Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
Desirable Qualification and Experience :
• Experience in conducting in field based health research.
• Experience in anthropometric measurement.
• Experience in coordinating the field team for data collection.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Experience in working as part of a research project team.
4. Project Technician III (Lab) :
• 12th pass in science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (DMLT) or relevant subject. (OR) One year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician (DMLT) plus one-year experience in a recognized organization or 2 years laboratory experience*. *B.Sc Degree (relevant subjects – Medical Lab technology, microbiology, and biochemistry) shall be treated as 3 years’ experience.
Desirable qualification :
(i)Experience in collecting venous blood specimen (venepuncture), Laboratory investigation, etc.,
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Application
5. Project Technical Officer (Lab) :
• Graduate in Microbiology / Virology / Medical Lab Technology from a recognized university with 5 years working experience from a recognized Research Institution. (OR) Master’s degree in Microbiology / Virology / Medical Lab Technology from a recognized university.
Desirable qualification :
• Experience in preparing Laboratory SOPs related to blood collection, processing, testing, storage, and transportation.
• Experience in handling biological samples, processing, testing and analysis.
• Any Survey / Field experience in quality assurance of biological sample collection and testing.
6. Project Semi Skilled Worker :
• 10th Pass/ High School or Equivalent .
Desirable Qualification and Experience :
• Experience in working in field-based health research surveys.
• Experience in assisting field sample collection, washing of glassware/general cleaning of laboratory equipment, maintenance of lab cleanliness and study related equipment.
• Proficiency in Tamil
