About NHM
The Union Cabinet vide its decision dated 1st May 2013 has approved the launch of National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) as a Sub-mission of an over-arching National Health Mission (NHM), with National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) being the other Sub-mission of National Health Mission.NHM concentrate both urban and rural development in health welfare of nation.
Staff Nurse recruitment 2016
NRHM announced the candidates who are willing to work in mission mode for the engagement on contractual basis for the Staff Nurse post and ANM for the state of Assam. The selection process is basis of the merit list. Only selected candidates will call for the interview. For that interview round, No TA/DA will be paid.
NHM Vacancies 2016
As per the adv no 115/08-09/pt-II/4621, NHRM announced the vacancies of 800 posts for both Staff Nurse and ANM. In this 3 percent of seats are reserved for the disability. In remaining 97 percent for other categories. beyond this 300 post are announced for the staff nurse and 500 post for ANM.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates who are interested in the staff nurse recruitment should have the following eligibility. Candidate must passed B.Sc. Nursing/ GNM Course from any nursing school / institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council and registered with “Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ and Health Visitors’ Council. Remuneration amount for the above post is 14,500/- per month. Candidates who are interested with ANM post should have the criteria as below, Candidate must have ANM nursing course passed from any nursing school / recognized institution and registered with “Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ and Health Visitors’ Council”. Remuneration amount for ANM post is 13000/- per month. Candidates with other qualification need not to apply. Age limit was not mentioned on the official notification.

Candidates should take all the scanned copies of the required documents (including pass certificate of the Nursing course and Assam Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Council registration certificate) and also application acknowledgement form.

Candidates without scan copy or acknowledgement cannot be consider for selection. So please be careful as every document is attached to the mail.
For Notice
Candidates selected for the above post is only decided by the recruitment board. The selected candidates will intimated through mail .The shortlisted candidates will attend the interview with skill test.
Candidates who are already working with NHM, Assam are not allowed to the above post .If the recruitment board found any candidates already working with NHM applied then their application will be cancelled at any stage of progression.
