Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law exam 2016 is conducted through online mode and the examination paper is for 150 marks. The questions are of multiple choice having 150 questions that is each question carrying 1 mark. it is available in both English and Marathi language. Duration of exam is 2 hours.

There are total of five sections and they are
1. Legal Aptitude and Reasoning – 40 questions
2. General Knowledge and Current Affairs – 30 questions
3. Basic Mathematics – 10 questions
4. English – 30 questions
5. Logical and Analytical reasoning – 40 questions
