Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) [Male/ Female] – Bachelors degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognised University or Institution; or Bachelor in Computer Application from a recognised University or Institution ; or B.E. in Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Electrical or Information Technology from a recognised University or Institution; or Associate Member of Institution of Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Electrical or Information Technology Engineers or equivalent from a recognised University or Institution.
Head Constable (Telecommunication) [Male/ Female] – 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board or university ; Or 10th Class pass from a recognised board with two years Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electronics or Electrical or Computer from a recognised Institute; or 10th Class pass from a recognised board with Science (PCM) and with three years Diploma in Electronics or Communication or Instrumentation or Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical from a recognised Institute.
Constable (Telecommunication) [Male/ Female] – Matriculation (10th Std) Pass from a recognized Board or equivalent. Diploma or certificate course from an Industrial Training Institute or any other recognised institution.
Age Limit
- Constable (Telecommunication): 18 to 23 years
- Head Constable (Telecommunication): 18 to 25 years
- Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): 20 to 25 years

Salary Details
- Constable (Telecommunication): Pay Matrix Level 3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100/-)
- Head Constable (Telecommunication): Pay Matrix Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100/-)
- Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): Pay Matrix Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/-)

Selection Process : The selection process for ITBP Recruitment 2024 consists of:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Male: 1.6 km run in 7.5 minutes
Female: 800 meters run in 4.5 minutes
Long Jump and High Jump as per standards
Physical Standard Test (PST): Height, chest, and weight measurements will be checked as per ITBP norms.
Written Examination: Objective type questions covering General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, and English/Hindi.
Skill Test: Required only for specific posts like Head Constable.
Medical Examination: Candidates must be medically fit as per ITBP guidelines.
