Educational Qualifications

1. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Laboratory Technician) –
i) Pass in the Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subject from an recognized Board or equivalent.
ii) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institution.
iii) One year experience as lab Technician in medical set up .2. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Radiographer) –
i) Pass in the Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subject
ii) Diploma in Radio Diagnosis
Desirable:- One year Experience in the Field.3. Assistant Sub-Inspector (OT Technician) –
i) Passed 12th examination or equivalent from a recognized board or University; and
ii) Diploma or certificate in physiotherapy from an institution recognized by the Central or the State Government.4. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist) –
i) Passed 12th examination or equivalent with science from a recognized board or University; and
ii) Diploma or certificate in Operation Theatre Technician5. Head Constable (Central Sterilization Room Assistant CSR Assistant) –
i) Passed 12th examination or equivalent with science from a recognized board or University; and
ii) Certificate in Central Sterilization Room Assistant from an institution or hospital6. Constable (Peon) –
i) Passed Matriculation (10th) examination and
ii) Minimum One year experience as dresser in hospital or clinic.7. Constable (Telephone operator – receptionist) –
i) Passed Matriculation (10th) examination or equivalent with science from a recognized board or equivalent; and
ii) One year’s experience in handling of LINE in a Hospital or other organization dealing in LINE.8. Constable (Dresser) –
i) Passed Matriculation (10th) examination or equivalent with science from a recognized board or equivalent; and
ii) One year’s experience as Telephone Operator in an Office or Hospital having a Telephone Exchange of at least Fifty LINEN PBX systems with working knowledge of telephone LINEN lying.9. Constable (Linen Keeper) – Passed Matriculation (10th) Examination
Age Limit
- Constable (Carpenter): Between 18 to 25 years
- Head Constable: Between 18 to 25 years
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI): Between 20 to 28 years
- Age relaxations are applicable for SC/ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, and other reserved categories as per government norms.
- Relaxation of Upper age limit:
For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years For OBC Candidates: 3 years For Ex-Servicemen Candidates: As per Govt. Policy
Salary Structure: The pay scale for ITBP recruitment varies by position:
- Constable (Carpenter): Approximate pay scale is ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Pay Level 3).
- Head Constable: Approximate pay scale is ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Pay Level 4).
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI): Approximate pay scale is ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Pay Level 5).
