Is typing mandatory to apply for TNPSC group 4 ?

TNPSC group 4 is the exam conducted to recruit Candidates to post like junior assistant, Village administrative officer, bill collector, draughtsman, field surveyor , stenographer and typist.

This exam requires the eligibility of SSLC standard to apply for this examination. But typing skills and certificate is necessary only for the typist posts.

For all other posts ,it is not mandatory to have typing as a skill. You can also check the official notification for details.
