Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the IREL Apprentice Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet specific educational and age criteria, which are detailed below:

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Apprentices: Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech. degree in relevant disciplines (like Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) from a recognized university.
• Technician Apprentices: Applicants should have completed a Diploma in relevant engineering fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) from a recognized institution.
• Trade Apprentices: Candidates must have passed ITI in relevant trades from an NCVT/SCVT-recognized institute.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates must be between 18 to 25 years as of the application closing date (17th October 2024). Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years

For OBC Candidates: 3 years

For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates: 10 years

For PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates: 15 years

For PwBD (OBC) Candidates: 13 years

Salary and Stipend: The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during the apprenticeship period as per the norms laid down by the Apprenticeship Act and IREL policies. The stipend details are as follows:

• Graduate Apprentices: ₹9,000 – ₹10,000 per month
• Technician Apprentices: ₹8,000 – ₹9,000 per month
• Trade Apprentices: ₹7,000 – ₹8,000 per month

Selection Process: The selection for the IREL Apprentices 2024 recruitment will be based on the following:

Merit List: The selection of candidates will be done based on their academic performance, i.e., marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma/ITI course. A merit list will be prepared for each category of apprentices.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on merit will be called for document verification. Candidates are required to present all original certificates, mark sheets, and other relevant documents.

Medical Examination: After document verification, candidates will undergo a medical fitness test conducted by IREL to ensure that they meet the required health standards.
