Eligibility Criteria

Graduate Apprentices

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • Age Limit: Minimum age should be 18 years. The maximum age limit is 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.

Technician Apprentices

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Age Limit: Minimum age should be 18 years. Maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation as per government norms.

Trade Apprentices

  • Educational Qualification: ITI in relevant trade from a recognized institute.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, maximum 27 years with applicable relaxation.

Stipend/Salary : The stipend for apprentices at IREL follows government norms, with variations based on the type of apprenticeship:

  • Graduate Apprentices: Approximately INR 9,000 – 12,000 per month
  • Technician Apprentices: Approximately INR 8,000 – 10,000 per month
  • Trade Apprentices: Approximately INR 7,000 – 9,000 per month

Selection Process : The selection process for IREL Apprenticeship 2024 is based on:

Merit-Based Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications.

Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to the candidate passing a medical examination to confirm fitness for the apprenticeship.

No written tests or interviews are conducted for the selection of apprentices.
