Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification : Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least Fifty Percentage marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
Who can Apply: Applicants who have appeared for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) 2024 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2024 published by NTA.
Age Limit : Candidates must be born between 2nd January 2005 and 1st July 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Salary and Benefits
- Training Period: During the training, candidates will receive a stipend as per Indian Navy regulations.
- Post Commission: On successful commissioning, candidates will be placed in Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) of the Defence Pay Matrix along with additional allowances like MSP and others.

Selection Process
Shortlisting of Candidates : Based on JEE (Main) 2024 All India Rank, eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.
SSB Interview : Conducted in two stages:
Stage 1: Intelligence test, Picture Perception, and Group Discussion.
Stage 2: Psychological testing, Group tasks, and Interview.
Only candidates clearing Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2.
Medical Examination : Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo a comprehensive medical examination to ensure fitness for commissioning.
Merit List : The final merit list will be prepared based on SSB performance and medical fitness.
