HSSC Profile
Recently HSSC issued the official recruitment notification Advt. No. 3/2016 for various LDC/UDC/Shift Attendant/Grid Sub Station Operator etc. posts. Haryana Staff Selection Commission (earlier Subordinate Services Selection Board) is constituted as per the proviso of Article 309 of constitution of India, vide Haryana Government Notification No.523-3GS-70/2068, dated 28.01.1970. Through it was granted statutory status of Haryana Staff Selection Commission vide Haryana Govt. Gazette Notification dated 28.02.2005.
The Commission conducts examinations/interviews for appointments to Group ‘C’ services and may be called up on to conduct examination/interview for appointment to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services if required by the state Government. The Commission devices the mode of selection and fixed criteria for selection to posts as if may deem appropriate departments send requisitions to the Commission which are duly advertised in four newspapers, two Hindi and two English and port on the website.

Question Pattern
The questions will be asked from General English, Reasoning, General Knowledge, Maths and Aptitude with 75% Weightage and others with 25% Weightage whereas written exam will be conducted for 160 Marks.
- Written Exam will be of 80 Questions.
- Exam timing will be 75
- Each question will be of 2 marks.
- Experience marks- 16 Marks
- Interview Marks- 24 Marks
- Total Marks- 200
Expected Cut off Marks
The Expected cut off marks for the following categories as follows,
General – 130 to 140, OBC – 120 to 130, SC – 110, ST – 98 to 105, VH – 95 to 102, OH – 97 to 105, HH – 75 to 85, Ex- Serviceman – 75 to 85.
