HPPSC are planned to recruit the suitable candidates for the post of Assistant professor to fill the 470 vacant posts of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) Class-I (Gazetted) posts on contract basis on the department of Higher Education.

Assistant Professor Recruitment
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission is the government department which handle the recruitment of many eligible candidates for the grade post. It also conduct some promotion examinations and also group examination to select the dynamic and deserving candidates. Many numerous candidates are dreamed to be a part of the merit list of selected candidates of this recruitment. As the commission was incorporated in the year of 1971 to select candidates as per the requirement of job profile. Official notification released by the commission recently as Advertisement No. 8/2016 to fill the 470 vacant posts of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) Class-I (Gazetted) posts on contract basis for the department of Higher Education.
As the seats are limited when compared with the number of candidates who have applied for this examination. Hence each of the candidate have to understand the competition level of this recruitment and prepare hard to crack this examination. The shortlisted candidates will attend the Personal Interview as next phase of selection.
HPPSC Call Letter Released
Examination date is not yet officially announced but it was expecting in the month of August 2016. Interested and eligible candidates who have completed Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University recognized by the Government of India with atleast 55 % of aggregated marks have applied to this post till 04.07.2016. Even though the candidates are selected based on the written examination, Personal Interview. Each level of recruitment process is important, without clearing one level cannot move to another. HPPSC has also announced its pay scale will be in range of 21600 Rupees P.M. Hence the preparation level should be proper and planned. The call letter will be released by the HPPSC within 10 days before the examination date.
HPPSC Hall Ticket 2016
Hall ticket is the mandatory document in which the photograph, signature, name of the post in which the written examination is held for, Time and Venue of the examination are provided. It is the only document in which made the candidates to get admit for the examination hall. Every candidates have to carry this admit card and to show up to officials of the examination hall along with the Valid ID Proof and its photocopy. Candidates are requested to check the hall ticket instructions which are printed with the hall ticket to avoid any last minute tension. Electronics devices such as calculator, Mobiles, Tablets are not allowed for the examination hall. For the safety precautions, Candidates are advised to keep it outside before entering the examination hall.
Failed of Admit Card Download
If a candidate does not receive his/her e-Call Letter or any other communication regarding his/her candidature for the examination two weeks before the commencement of the examination, he/she should at once contact the Commission.
Information in this regard can also be obtained from the Facilitation Counter located in the Commission’s Office either in person or over telephone.
Candidates should check their application status before contacting the helpline. Due to incompletion , some of the registered applications may rejected.
