Vacancy Details: The recruitment is specifically for Graduate Apprentices in Engineering disciplines under the Apprenticeship Act, 1973. Below are the tentative branch-wise vacancies (subject to change as per HPCL requirements):

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduates in Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/Instrumentation/Computer Science/ IT streams who have completed Engineering Graduation after 01-04-2022 onwards are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed engineering prior to 01-04-2022 are not eligible for apprenticeship training.
Age Limit (As on 30.05.2025) : Graduate Apprentices (Engineering) – Min age 18 Years and Max age 25 Years
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
| For SC/ ST Applicants: 5 years |
| For OBC Applicants: 3 years |
| For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Applicants: 10 years |
| For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: 15 years |
| For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: 13 years |
Stipend: Graduate Apprentices (Engineering) – Rs.25000/- for Engineering Graduates (Rs 20,500 will be paid by HPCL & Rs 4500 will be directly paid to apprentices by GOI as per DBT scheme)
Selection Process: The selection process for HPCL Graduate Apprentice posts will include:
Merit-based shortlisting of candidates based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Final selection will be based on academic performance and interview marks.
Medical Examination: Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-engagement medical fitness test.
