GTRE DRDO Recruitment 2023 150 Apprentice Posts: The Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), a unit of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released a job notification for the recruitment of 150 Graduate Apprentice Trainees, Diploma Apprentice Trainees & ITI Apprentice Trainees Posts. The online application facility for this recruitment will be available on the official website @ www.rac.gov.in from 07.03.2023 to 24.03.2023.

Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for the GTRE DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2023 are as follows:

Graduate Apprentice – Engineering – A degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament

Graduate Apprentice – Non Engineering – A degree granted by a statutory University/ by an institution empowered to award such degrees by an Act of Parliament / Educational Institutes established by a State Government / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government..

Diploma Apprentice – A diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government / by a University / by an Institute recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma. Sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he/ she may hold a diploma in Engg./Technology

ITI Apprentice – A certificate in vocational Course involving two years of study after the completion of the secondary stage of school education recognised by the All India Council for Technical education. A sandwich course student who is undergoing training in order that he may hold a certificate mentioned in (i) above.

For B.E / B.Tech. / Diploma (Engineering) Apprentice Trainees & B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A / BCA / BBA (Non Engineering) Apprentice Trainees only; Candidates who have passed in the year 2020 /2021/2022 (last three years) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam earlier than 2020 are not eligible.

Age Limit (As on 24.03.2023): The age limit for GTRE DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2023 is

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: Unreserved category – 27 yrs, OBC – 30 yrs, SC/ST -32 yrs, PWD – 37 yrs (Persons With Disability)

Salary: Selected candidates will be paid a stipend as per the Apprenticeship Rules, 1961.

Graduate Apprentice – Engineering – Rs. 9000/-per month

Graduate Apprentice – Non Engineering – Rs. 9000/-per month

Diploma Apprentice – Rs. 8000/-per month

ITI Apprentice – Rs. 7000/-per month

Selection Process: The selection process for GTRE DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2023 will be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

• Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Engineering (B.E / B.Tech. / Equivalent) , Graduate Apprentice Trainees – Non Engineering (B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.A BCA / BBA), Diploma Apprentice Trainees / ITI Apprentice Trainees: Depending upon the vacancies available in various disciplines, selection of candidates will be carried out by short listing on the basis of Academic Merit/Written Test/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents,

How to Apply: Candidates can apply for GTRE DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2023 through the online mode only.

• The online application facility will be available on the official website @www.rac.gov.in from 07.03.2023 to 24.03.2023.
• Candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the fields along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list).
• The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms and the same will be verified during document verification.
• Candidates are required to bring a signed printout of the application along with the originals of the documents submitted online at the time of joining at GTRE, Bengaluru.
• Online Applications after the last date would NOT be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms would not be accepted.
