Salary :
Librarian :
• Rs.57,700 – 2,05,500 (Level 10) + Other allowances as per Norms.
Skilled Assistant/Lab Assistant :
• Rs.19,500 – 62,000 (Level 8) + Other allowances as per Norms
Educational Qualification :
1.Librarian :
• Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science / Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET / SET.
2. Skilled Assistant/Lab Assistant :
• An Industrial Training Institute certificate / NTC /NAC in appropriate Trade.
