Do I need to mug up portions to study for TNPSC?

Be it any exam, you should not mug up or consider it to be a Portion to be memorized for exam purpose only. You should understand the subjects wisely and study the topics practically.

Clearly study the topics and make sure you do a proper revision for it. The topics like years in history, chronological incident, Articles in polity, Famous judgement, National Parks locations, Amendment numbers,five year plans, Aptitude formula etc only should be in memory.
