Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who wish to apply for the Junior Purchase Assistant / Junior Storekeeper posts must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 and 27 years of age as on the closing date of application i.e. 15.05.2023. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per government norms.The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science with 60% marks. OR Commerce graduate with 60% marks. OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering/ Electronics / Computer Science with 60% marks from Government recognized universities/ institutions. Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification as indicated above as on the closing date for receipt of application should not apply. No further correspondence or clarification will be entertained on this matter.
Other Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should also possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in the field of purchase and stores in a government or private organization. Knowledge of computer applications is also essential.
Salary: Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of Rs. 25,500/- per month in the Pay Level-4 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Additionally, other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance will also be provided as per government norms.
Selection Process: The selection process for the Junior Purchase Assistant / Junior Storekeeper posts will consist of a Written Test and a Skill Test. The Written Test will be conducted in English and will consist of 100 multiple choice questions. The Skill Test will be conducted for candidates who qualify in the Written Test and will be based on the job requirements of the post.
Level 1 Examination – Written Exam (OMR based Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Level 2 – Written Exam (Descriptive Type) & Document Verification (DV)
Centres Of Examination: Level 1 and Level 2 Examinations will be conducted at various cities viz., Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Indore, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Guwahati and Nagpur.
