Control board of Indian army announced written examination notification for 270 post to recruit eligible candidates to the group C posts for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) 46 posts, Material Assistant 30 posts, Pharmacist 01 posts, MTS(saifawala) 06 posts, Telephone Operator 02 posts, Fireman 28 posts , Civilian Motor Driver (CMD) 01 posts, MTS (Messenger) 03 post, Barber 02 posts, Cook 03 posts , Washer man 02 posts, Vendor (Canteen)01 posts, Tradesman Mate 145 posts as Vacancies. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed 10th Class / Intermediate / Diploma in concerned specialization from any recognized Institution or Board with minimum aggregate of marks.
Age Limit
Candidates age between 18 to 27 years for Material Assistant and 18 to 25 years for Tradesman Mate & other posts. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per govt norms.

The selection process of group C category is done by three main process. Eligible candidates who applied through offline for the post have to clear the written examination. Once the written examination is cleared, candidates will attend the Trade test and then Personal Interview. In the written examination there are four subjects which are mainly concentrated. Logical Reasoning(25 marks), General Awareness(50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (25 marks)and English Knowledge(50 marks) for the total duration of 1hour and 30 minutes. COD Syllabus for Written examination 2016
COD written examination consist of 4 sections as given above. There is no negative marks for wrong answers. Exam will be conducted as objective type ie MCQ’s. Total marks obtained for the test is 150 marks of 1hr 30 minutes duration. Hence there is no negative marks candidates can prepare confidently for the exam without wasting your time.
