Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for these prestigious positions, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Obstetrician / Gynecologist – MBBS with MD (Obstetrics and Gynecology) or MBBS with Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology from colleges recognized by NMC/MCI and registration with MCI |
| 2. Pediatrician – MBBS with MD (Pediatrics) or MBBS with Diploma in Child Health from colleges recognized by NMC/MCI and registration with MCI |
| 3. General Surgeon – MBBS with MS( General Surgery from colleges recognized by NMC/MCI and registration with MCI |
| 4. Anaesthetist – MBBS with MD (Anaesthesia) or Post-Graduate Diploma in Anesthesia from colleges recognized by NMC/MCI and registration with MCI |
| 5. Orthopedic Surgeon – MBBS with MS in (Orthopedic Surgery) or MBBS with Diploma in Orthopedic Surgery from colleges recognized by NMC/MCI and registration with MCI |
| 6. Dentist – BDS/MDS from colleges recognized by Dental Council of India and Registration with DCI. |
Age Limit: The maximum age for applying for these positions is 45 years. Relaxations in age limit are applicable as per government rules.
Salary: Selected candidates for these specialist positions will be entitled to a competitive salary package commensurate with their qualifications and experience. The remuneration is in accordance with the guidelines and pay scales set by the Chennai Corporation.
