Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Trade Apprentice – High School (12th) Pass and ITI pass as a Regular Full Time Applicant of the last 03 years, from a NCVT/SCVT recognized institutes. For all Trades except Welder in Table No 1 above NCVT/SCVT certificate is required. For welder trade National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVT) shall only be considered. Applicants who have completed their ITI Tradecourse in the year 2021, 2022 & 2023 will ONLY be eligible for applying in apprenticeship training in 2024. Candidates who have completed ITI through Distance Learning / Part Time / Correspondence/Sandwich courses shall not be considered for apprenticeship training in BHEL.
Technician Apprentice – High School (12th) 12th Pass and Diploma in Engineering pass as a regular full time Applicants of the last three years, from Govt. recognized institute, with minimum 60% marks for UR/ EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates and minimum 50% marks for ST/SC Candidates. Candidates who have completed their Diploma courses in 2021, 2022 & 2023 will only be eligible for applying in apprenticeship training in 2024. Applicants who have completed Diploma in Engineering through Part Time / Distance Learning / Correspondence/Sandwich courses shall not be considered for Apprentice training in BHEL
Graduate Apprentice – Passed in 10+2 and Graduation in Engineering/ Technology/ Graduation in Commerce (B.Com.)/ Graduation in Arts (BA) as a regular full time candidate.
Age Limit: Minimum Age: 18 years; Maximum Age: 27 years; Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates.

Salary Details:
- Trade Apprentice: The monthly stipend will range from ₹7,000 to ₹8,000.
- Technician Apprentice: The monthly stipend will be around ₹8,000 to ₹9,000.
- Graduate Apprentice: The monthly stipend will be approximately ₹9,000 to ₹10,000.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be based on the following criteria:
Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on the academic performance of the candidates (marks obtained in ITI/Diploma/Degree).
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the verification of their original documents.
Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the document verification process will have to undergo a medical examination to confirm their fitness for the apprenticeship program.
There will be no written exam or interview for the selection process. The merit list and document verification will be the sole criteria.
