Eligibility Criteria : Candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria before applying:

Educational Qualification:

Graduate Apprentices: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant field from a recognized university.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

Trade Apprentices: Completion of ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institution.

Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age limit will vary based on the trade and apprentice category. Age relaxations are applicable for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per government norms.

Other Requirements: Candidates must have completed their qualifying degree/diploma/ITI within the past three years (2021, 2022, or 2023). Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training previously.

Salary/Stipend : The monthly stipend provided during the apprenticeship training is as follows:

• Graduate Apprentices: ₹9,000 per month
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹8,000 per month
• Trade Apprentices: ₹7,000 per month

Stipends will be subject to changes based on BDL’s policy and government guidelines.

Selection Process : The selection process for the BDL Apprentice recruitment 2024 will primarily be based on merit, as calculated from marks obtained in the qualifying examination:

Screening and Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic performance.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for document verification.

Final Selection: Based on the verification process, the final list of selected candidates will be published on the BDL website.

Note: No written examination or interview will be conducted for this recruitment.
