NTR University Para Medical Course Admission

Dr. NTR Health University of Andhra Pradesh located in Vijayawada established in 1986.NTRUHS is a state wide University with the aim of ensuring efficient and systematic education, training and research in allopathic and Indian systems of medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. It have its growth from 28 colleges to 348 colleges and offers courses like Modern Science, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Nursing, Naturopathy & Yoga, Physiotherapy and Medical Laboratory Technology. Application forms for admission into the courses such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy i.e., BPT,Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology i.e., B.Sc., (MLT),Bachelor of Science in Nursing i.e., B.Sc., (Nursing) 4Year Degree course for the academic year 2016-17 into affiliated colleges to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada in the state of A.P. is invited from the eligible candidates through online. Please check the criteria before apply to the admission of paramedical courses.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess the qualifications or its equivalent thereto, subject to various specifications in the relevant service rules and as indented by the department as on the date of notification 2016 are given below as per the course,

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Physiotherapy) or Inter vocational with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or APOSS with Biological and Physical Sciences.

Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.sc MLT)

Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry or Intermediate Vocational (Medical Lab Technology) or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Inter vocational with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences or APOSS with Biological and Physical Sciences.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Candidates should have educational details as 10+2 Passed with science group and English as compulsory subject or 10+2 passed out from recognized board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE/NIOS/APOSS or other equivalent Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Intermediate Vocational with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences.

Eligible Percentage of Marks

Candidates who wish to pursue the nursing course should have 45 aggregate of mark percentage in Science subjects for general category and 40 Percent of aggregated marks in science group for reserved category as per orders of the Secretary Indian Nursing Council.

Age Limit                                                                                   

To pursue these courses in NTRUHS, the students have to be in the minimum age of 17 years as on 31 December 2016. i.e. Candidates born on or after 02.01.2000 are not eligible for admission into the above courses for underage verification.

Application Fees

For each Course during Registration Procedure, Candidates have to pay the application fees of Rs.1050/- for General Category and Rs.850/- SC/ST and other reservation category.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be finally done by the counselling for the shortlisted candidates as per their Merit List. Merit List for all the above courses will be displayed on the website of the University and the date of display of merit list will be notified.

Counselling Centres

The Centres allotted to conduct counselling for the shortlisted candidates are Hyderabad, Varangal, Vijayawada, Vishakapatnam, Tirupati.

How To Apply

On the Home Page check the link called ‘Click Here for New Registration’. Candidates need to enter their details in Registration Form as per the course (B.SC (MLT, Nursing), BPT).

Click Confirm button after editing the details. Candidates should make sure while doing selection, editing will be disabled once the application submitted.

Once candidate click on submit button, Page will redirect to registered details such as Application number, Candidate Name, Gender, Date of Birth of the applicant.

Candidates need to upload the photograph and signature in desired format and size.

After completing of uploading required documents click on submit button.

Clicking on submit button the page will redirect to application fees payment.

Once fees payment is successful through online or through bank challan then only the application procedure will complete.

Applicant need to take printout of fee receipt and application form.
