Eligibility Criteria
Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs):
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or its equivalent. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi.
Subjects: TGT positions are available for specific subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Science.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years as of 01.01.2024. Relaxations apply as per government norms.
Primary Teachers (PRTs):
Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) or equivalent with at least 50% marks. Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Must have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years as of 01.01.2024. Relaxations apply as per government norms.
Prep Teachers:
Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class 12) or equivalent with at least 50% marks. Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-School Education. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years as of 01.01.2024. Relaxations apply as per government norms.
Salary Details
- TGTs: Pay Level 6 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) per month.
- PRTs: Pay Level 5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300) per month.
- Prep Teachers: Pay Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100) per month.
Additional allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance are applicable as per AECS norms.
Selection Process
Written Test: The written test will assess candidates’ proficiency in the concerned subjects and general knowledge related to teaching. It will consist of objective and descriptive questions.
Skill Test/Demo Class: Candidates shortlisted in the written test will be invited for a skill test or demo class to evaluate teaching abilities.
Document Verification: Final selection will be subject to verification of eligibility documents.
