What is the difference between TNPSC and UPSC?

Union public service commission ( UPSC) is a constitutional body that works tirelessly for recruiting the candidates through out the country by various civil services examination. It comes under the central government of India.

Tamilnadu public service commission ( TNPSC) is a public body that works under the government of tamilnadu recruiting aspirants to work in the state of Tamilnadu only. It comes under the state government of tamilnadu.

Comparing both the exams i.e. UPSC and TNPSC exams, UPSC seems to cover more syllabus of important subjects and it requires a long time duration for preparation.
